yehey! the new and improved jomi and krissy site is now here!

hope we can post more often now that things are (sort of) settling down...

it's been awhile.

to all of you who still manage to visit every now and then, thank you. we'll start posting now that we've managed to get a bayantel phone line, a laptop, and an internet pre-paid account. or at least, post a little more often. haha. anyway, on with the news! :-)

krissy's growing bigger each day (este, month) and our baby's kicks are getting stronger. heck, i can actually SEE krissy's tummy move with each kick (or hiccup). amazing.

we've also pretty much settled into a routine: i wake up to study for law school, krissy wakes up to cook us some breakfast while i then take a bath, i attend law school while krissy stays at home resting (and growing, hehe). after my classes, i go on home and rest a bit while krissy cooks us dinner (i set the dishes and try not to look too useless). after dinner, i bring out my books and cases for the next day's lessons and alternately study the law and play with a gameboy advance i've borrowed from my youngest sister. mario does a good job of keeping me awake past 12 midnight.

the day ends when i'm done studying and the next day heralds a new day of (more) studying. woohoo! :-)

more or less, that's what we do. aside from continuing our war of attrition on the ants in our place and going out for groceries or vcds or to the atm to pay our bills, of course. plus the weekly visits we make to alabang to see my family (and get gas, hehe).

Super congrats to the two of you! Nagulat ako ng husto!... I saw kasi yung pinaka-latests then read the mails from the latest to the earliest.. increase ng increase yung suspense as to why people were congratulating you. For your family, I wish all of God's blessings and happiness.

here's an email from our tita Love that is, well, quite appropriate now.

Larry wakes up at home with a huge hangover. He forces himself to open his eyes, and the first thing he sees is a couple of aspirins and a glass of water on the side table. He sits up and sees his clothing in front of him, all clean and pressed. Larry looks around the room and sees that it is in perfect order, spotless, clean. So is the rest of the house. He takes theaspirins and notices a note on the table: "Honey, breakfast is on the stove, I left early to go shopping. Love you."

So he goes to the kitchen, and sure enough there is a hot breakfast and the morning newspaper. His son is also at the table, eating. Larry asks, "Son, what happened last night?" His son says, "Well, you came home after 3 A.M., drunk and delirious, broke some furniture, puked in the hallway, and gave yourself a black eye when you stumbled into the door."

Confused, Larry asks, "So, why is everything in order and so clean, and breakfast is on the table waiting for me?" His son replies, "Oh, that! Mom dragged you to the bedroom, and when she tried to take your pants off, you said,

"Lady, leave me alone, I'm married'!"

there's an important lesson to be learned here, folks. =)

Notice anything special about where krissy and i are posing?



Nope, there is NOTHING special about the place we're posing in front of in San Francisco. Tita Love thought the building behind us was the "Buena Vista" the bar and cafe on Hyde Street (hey, at least we got the STREET right?) that's featured in the movie "When A Man Loves A Woman".

man, the three of us laughed like hyenas right there on the street after we found out our mistake. especially when we discovered that the "Buena Vista" was on the OTHER side of the street! where tita Love was standing and taking our picture! needless to say, I took this picture of krissy inside the bar after we had finished laughing.



Krissy posed REAL fast here before the waiters asked us if we wanted a table. We would have been obligated to take a table and spend mucho dollars if they did. Kahiya e.
